I have added a few new pictures to our MBQG Quilter's Quarters pictures. Click here to go to our Flickr page with pictures of members sewing rooms/studios. I have added new member Tina Belding's pictures of her great sewing room. You will love seeing her tidy stash! Her pictures are ear the bottom, click on one of the thumbnail pictures and you will get a larger image, then click on the arrow or go to "next".

Yesterday we had a wonderful morning making fascinators with Linda Mills. What fun! It felt like we were all kid's again at a birthday party (no cake though!). We had piles of bits and bobs to chose from and everyone was very generous sharing what they had brought. We can't wait to share our creations. Be sure and come to the Quilt Canada Chowder lunch on June 1 at St James Church Hall to see them.

There are 23 art quilters represented in this juried show and one third are members of our Guild. Congratulations to members Anna Davison, Linda Mackie Finley, Linda Mills, Jamie Pratt, Teri Springer, Laurie Swim and Laureen van Lierop is amazing! We are so proud of you all! And 6 others have given programs and/or workshops at our guild. Meredith Annett  and Laureen van Lierop are responsible for the way this show is hung and it is beautiful. The exhibition was juried by renowned Nova Scotia artist and sculptor Dawn MacNutt. Be sure and pick up the exhibiton brochure at the gallery with Dawn's eloquent thoughtful statement.
