Well, most of November and December have been a write-off for me, but it has been worth it as I now have a wonderful new knee! Many thanks for all the good wishes and for all the help (Rose, Sandy B and Jill) with photography when I couldn’t get to several Guild events. I hated to miss, I really did.
From all reports the Father Christmas Welcome Centre and quilt display was well received in their new location. Many thanks to all who helped hang the show and be there during the Festival weekends. It is so important to volunteer, it really doesn’t take much time and who doesn’t like to be in the company of other quilters!! See more of our pictures here.
I have heard from so many members that I really missed the best Pot Luck Dinner and Party that the Guild has ever had! And the show and tell was amazing! Be sure and visit our Flickr page here to see all the pictures. The food looked delicious! And the wonderful ornaments and pin cushions were all well received. Such a nice tradition.
Isabel’s beautiful hand-embroidered quilt”Deck The Halls”, a Crab Apple Hill Design, machine quilted by Debbie Vermeulen. I can’t wait to see this in person!
We are back to our winter schedule with daytime meetings for January 7, February 4 and March 4, the hall opens at 12:30, meetings start at 1pm. See you there!
