Guild President Pam Wells thanking Barb Himmelman for a job well done! And many thanks to the quilt show committee for all their hard work for our bi-annual quilt show. It was a resounding success! Many thanks to all the Guild members and volunteers who gave many hours to hang and host the show, who helped with the take down and clean up. It was a big job in a new space! We are looking forward to coming back in 2020 with another super show.

Annette Fralic’s quilt “Sylvia’s Garden” won the CQA Viewer’s Choice Award as well as the “Best in Show, Jean Ramsey Award”! Congratulations Annette!!
Annette’s quilt “Mom’s Mandela’s” won an Viewer’s Choice honourable mention, Annette’s Mom painted each mandela by hand.
Katina Chapman won an Honourable Mention, Viewer’s Choice for her quilt “Blue Ice”.
Laurie Swim’s “Hope and Survival” won an Honourable Mention Best in Show – Jean Ramsey Award Award.
Bev Drysdale’s quilt “Audrey’s Tulip Garden” won an Honourable Mention Best in Show – Jean Ramsey Award
