Spring is coming, sometime, soon, we hope!
We had another terrific turnout last Monday for our Monday meeting, show and tell and guest speaker Linda Roe. We have a busy month coming up starting next Tuesday with an afternoon tea for our new members. Then before we know it we will be hosting about 160 quilters for our 17th annual Dessert Party with an Extraordinary Quilter, Krista Hennebury which will be followed by 2 wonderful workshops. Then on May 6 we are having a Quilter's Yard Sale in the hall at Trinity United Church from 9am -12 noon. Like I said a busy month!
We had a number of beautiful Christmas quilts and wallhangings at our show and tell. Above is Vicki's wonderful Christmas wallhanging Fireside Santa.
Angela shared her 30 year Christmas Baltimore Album quilt. It is hand appliqued and hand quilted. Well done Angela for sticking with it!
