The Friday storm couldn't stop us! We filled the hall with quilters and friends for our 23rd annual Cuddle Quilt Day. By the end of the day over 100 quilts of various sizes were quilted or tied, ready to be donated to several local charities. We would like to acknowledge and thank Avonport Discount Fabrics, Lynn's Quilting Studio and Suttles and Seawinds for their very kind donations and support, much appreciated. We would also like to thank our many MBQG members who also donated fabric and many other supplies, who made quilts and quilt tops and who came on the day to complete the quilts. Your help and generosity is overwhelming!

Our hard working team! I forgot to get a picture of the three of them this year but they never stand still long enough so here is one from our Cuddle Quilt Day in 2014! We couldn't have had the day without the on-going volunteer effort by Valerie, Sheila and Leverne who manage the behind the scenes and year long efforts to make this day such a success.
