We had another packed house at our Guild meeting this week with 68 members, 2 new members and 1 guest! What a wonderful turnout!
The Guild will once again be offering two $500 scholarships to help two members go to the Mayflower Quilters Retreat in September 2013. The winners just have to be prepared to pay the balance of the fee ($225) to attend. Watch for news soon as to how to sign up for the draw which will take place at the March meeting.

Show and tell was terrific, we sure are a busy group. I especially love the variety of things we are doing from pin cushions to big quilts and everything in-between. I thought it was interesting how many are now piecing the backs of their quilts. I have been doing this for a long time and find it a great way to use up some fabric.
