I guess it is now officially an "annual" yard sale" as this was our second year. The first Saturday in May is known as the "100 Mile Yard Sale" day along the South Shore, with many participating from church and community organizations to individuals to our Guild.
We promote it as a "Quilter's Yard Sale" with everything a quilter would want from sewing machines, to quilt frames, lots of fabric and notions not to miss books and magazines. The quilters lined up early and when the doors opened at 10am the crowds descended!
From the sounds of it, the sellers and the buyers were all pleased. Lots of bargains for the buyers and the sellers hopefuly took home less than what they brought.
It was a perfect day with blue sky and sunshine and from the traffic around town it was a successful day. More pictures on our Flickr page here. Hope to see you again next year, the date would be Saturday May 2, 2015!
