Though some of us had trouble with the word “visioning”, it is what it is…an opportunity for members of our Guild to come together to discuss how our Guild functions and to discuss how we can make it better. We were looking for a “vision” to the future to find ut what is most important to us I guess and we were guided there by our very able facilitator Sue Bookchin.
Our facilitator Sue Bookchin with members Marilyn and Colleen
We began the day with the results from last year’s visioning day…
and lots of empty pieces of paper…
The topics for discussion were a result of our first day with Sue last May.
And a plan for this day…
Suzanne, Mollie, Isabel and Brenda
We introduced ourselves and talked about what we hoped the day would do for our Guild.
We divided into groups to discuss our understandings and make some solutions.
Sue helped us through the process and kept us focused.
A lot was accomplished, we laughed , we ate well, we got to know one another better and I think we all came away with a great feeling of accomplishment.
Thanks Sue…we’d love to teach you how to quilt!
