Art Hits the Wall

By 10 July 2011Community

Art Hits the Wall opened last Friday at the Rossignol Centre in Liverpool, NS. This is a collaborative exhibition between quilters and rug hookers held every 2 years. It originally started out with the Mahone Bay Quilters Guild as a quilt show for quilters to make a wallhanging inpsired by a work of art. Doris Eaton was one of the jurors and she soon suggested that it become a joint show with rug hookers and quilters with work being made to a theme. This year's theme was "Tides of Time". Polly Greene and Doris have been involved ever since along with other committee members and the support of the Rossignol Centre. AHTWDoris&Polly
