After a few interruptions, the Mahone Bay Quilters Guild blog is finally ready to step out into the world! Here we plan to share with the quilt world the activities of our Guild on a regular basis. Located on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, we are an active Guild of just over 100 mmembers. There are several bees within the Guild who meet at each others homes in between meetings. Our next big event is our annual Cuddle Quilt Day on Saturday January 29, 2011. We will gather with friends and neighbours to make quilts for Harbour House, the IWK NICU, local nursing homes and Blankets of Love.
Our next monthly meeting will be Monday February 7, at 6:30pm at Trinity United Church Hall in Mahone Bay. Guests and visitors are welcome!
