Slow Quilting at the Hungry Traveler
The Hungry Traveler Café 10117 Nova Scotia Trunk 3, Schnares Crossing, Nova Scotia, CanadaSlow Quilting in person is back! Natasha Kent at the Hungry Traveler Cafe (the former Old Black Forest Restaurant, located on Highway 3 between Mahone Bay and Lunenburg) is willing to welcome us on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month from 2-4 p.m. Natasha has coffee, tea, and sweets available as well as other fare if so desired....
MBQG Indoor Yard Sale
Trinity United Church 101 Edgewater Street, Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, CanadaOur bi-annual yard sale is held on the first Saturday in May at Trinity United Church in Mahone Bay, in conjunction with the 100 Mile Yard Sale. The sale runs from 9 am to noon. A quilter’s paradise where everything from thread through fabric to finished quilts are offered for sale.

Monthly Guild Meeting
Business Meeting: Evening meetings begin at 7:00 pm with doors open at 6:30 pm, and afternoon meetings begin at 1:00 pm, with doors open at 12:30 pm. The business meeting usually lasts 30-40 minutes. Inspired by Kim MacLean’s pattern this amazing quilt is our raffle quilt for this year. Tickets are available from Guild members now and they will also be available at various Farmers Markets throughout the summer as well as at our Quilt Show Sept. 27, 28 and 29th. The draw for the winner will be on the 29th. The quilt was pieced by Krista G and quilted by Pam W. Well done everyone and good luck!
