October Monthly Meeting
October 2, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Business Meeting: The meeting begins at 7:00 pm, usually lasting 30-40 minutes.
Program: The Project Pouch exchange promises lots of surprises and inspiration whether you chose to participate or not in this fun exchange project. Stay tuned for details for the rest of the October program.
Fat Quarter Draw: Jill is coordinating the draw this month. The theme for October is nautical!
Sew & Tell: The meeting wraps up with sharing our completed projects. Look for the sign up sheet.
GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT GUILD MEETINGS:
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for evening meetings and at 12:30 p.m. for afternoon meetings, unless otherwise stated.
In Person Check-in: Please give your name at the front desk when you arrive. If you have questions about anything, someone at the desk can help. There will be raffle tickets and a revised membership renewal form available to pick up.
Guests: Members are permitted to bring a non-member guest to the meeting two times. This can be in person or virtually. Please advise Membership (mbqgmembership@gmail.com) if you plan to bring a guest, so they may be properly introduced at the meeting.
Library: Before the meeting is a great time to browse our library and borrow one of the new acquisitions. Our Librarian always welcomes suggestions for library purchases.
Donation items: Your quilt donations are welcome at any meeting.
And please remember that for all in-person meetings:
- – Events are scent free
- – You should wear a name tag – any type is fine. You can order a printed Guild name tag fromElizabeth or make your own.
- – Don’t be shy about introducing yourself to someone you might not know – we have many newmembers
- – Return any library books you have
