June Monthly Guild Meeting – AGM and Catered 35th Anniversary treat
June 1 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
This is our Annual General Meeting which will include election of new Executive members. Our meeting will also be accompanied by a treat to celebrate our 35th Anniversary! We will be enjoying catered appetizers, cake and tea & coffee.
Doors open at 5:30 pm.
AGM: The meeting begins at 6 pm.
Catered: Appetizers, 35th Anniversary Cake and tea & coffee
Fat Quarter Draw: no draw for this meeting
Annual General Meeting Information
- Read the Annual Reports included in the June Newsletter.
- Doors open at 5:30 pm with meeting starting at 6 pm
- Appetizers and cake will be served following the meeting.
- Please bring your utensils, (mug/cup, cutlery, and plate)
- Coffee and tea will be served.
- Don’t forget to bring your Presidents Challenge Project.
- Library books can be returned but not borrowed.
- Volunteer of the Year will be announced.
- There will be no Sew and Tell or Fat Quarter Draw
GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT GUILD MEETINGS:
In Person Check-in: Please give your name at the front desk when you arrive. If you have questions about anything, someone at the desk can help. There will be raffle tickets and a revised membership renewal form available to pick up.
Guests: Members are permitted to bring a non-member guest to the meeting two times. This can be in person or virtually. Please advise Membership (mbqgmembership@gmail.com) if you plan to bring a guest, so they may be properly introduced at the meeting.
Library: Before the meeting is a great time to return items borrowed from library.
Donation items: Your quilt donations are welcome at any meeting.
And please remember that for all in-person meetings:
- – Events are scent free
- – You should wear a name tag – any type is fine. You can order a printed Guild name tag from Elizabeth or make your own.
- – Don’t be shy about introducing yourself to someone you might not know – we have many new members
- – Return any library books you have
