Tamarak Jacket/Coat Class with Kate O’Brien, Kate’s Open Quilt Studio, April/May/June

Kate will walk us through each step in creating the quilted coat that includes finding the perfect fit by creating your own mock up jacket, cutting out the pattern, fabric selection, buttons, pockets, embellishments and French seams.

Workshop will consist of one-in-person class and 3 on-line classes.

You will be building a mockup of the jacket, breakdown of all the different parts of the coat and considerations you would take in making a customized jacket: custom quilting, design placement & layout, reversible vs non reversible, quilted pockets, etc.
