SILENT AUCTION IS OPEN TODAY AND TOMORROW! ⭐️ Members of the Guild worked hard over the summer to create these Challenge Quilts in support of Christmas Daddies! Members were given four fabrics, and could use up to four additional fabrics in creating these unique pieces. You can still bid on your favourite piece today until four, and again from 10-4PM tomorrow at Mahone Bay Centre 🏫 Admission to the show is $6.00 but kids under 12 get in for free!

The Mahone Bay Quilters’ Guild Quilt Show & Artisan Boutique is almost here, and this year’s show will be phenomenal. Our boutique is bigger than ever: over 1400 handmade items, all created by our talented guild members. From quilted treasures to fibre arts, gifts, décor, and one-of-a-kind pieces, it’s the perfect place to shop local and support makers.

Christmas Daddies is a not-for-profit organization whose mandate is to help less fortunate children in the Maritimes provinces have a better holiday season 🎁
All funds raised in Lunenburg County stay in Lunenburg County.

At Sew’n’Tell last night, we saw the beautiful works from the summer & months past! 🧵
Starting off with a Hexie Quilt by Donna V. that she mostly hand-stitched!
And then a Mariner’s Compass that Sandy B. Started in COVID which has quilted by her as well! ⚓️
Then a lovely Tamarak Jacket my Michelle W. that had multiple falling stars and a lovely sleeve detail! ⭐️
And the back which she quilted herself!

Orphan Block project started before the summer break! ☀️ Both of Sue’s quilts were quilted by Jill Rafuse.
Next up was the Islamic Times by Debbie B. that she learned during an art class in Spain 🇪🇸 quilted by her…
Then her Cutting Garden quilted by Nadine Stevens! 🪴
And to wrap up the night, Peggy L. showed us not one…
But two Cuddle Quilts made from pieces she rescued from the Guild’s Stash! 🌈
