Open Sew Day

OPEN SEW DAY UPDATE!!
We are very pleased to announce that we have the first open sew day booked for
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 20 at the Trinity United Church Hall (where we meet) from 9am to 4pm.
You can come for the day or pop in for a shorter visit.
We will have all the tables set up and space will be based on how many people attend.
Hand stitchers are welcome as well as machine sewers.
We have ironing boards and full-size irons but feel free to bring your own travel iron and wool mat if you like. We have a cutting mat if needed but please bring your own ruler and rotary cutter if using. Please bring your own extension cord or wheel if you are planning to plug something in, such as a sewing machine, iron, or extra lighting. We have several, but not enough for everyone.
Pack a lunch or run out for a snack when you get hungry.
This is an unstructured day to work on whatever you like and share ideas with other members.

Inspired by Kim MacLean’s pattern this amazing quilt is our raffle quilt for this year. Tickets are available from Guild members now and they will also be available at various Farmers Markets throughout the summer as well as at our Quilt Show Sept. 27, 28 and 29th. The draw for the winner will be on the 29th. The quilt was pieced by Krista G and quilted by Pam W. Well done everyone and good luck!
