DESCRIPTION:Fat Quarter Draw:   Theme for May “Blues”.  The more you bring\, the better your chances are of winning. \nProgram:  Auction (fabric\, notions etc.) \nSew & Tell: The meeting will wrap up with sharing our completed projects. Look for the sign up sheet. \n\n\n\nGENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT GUILD MEETINGS: \n\n\n\nDoors open at 6:30 p.m. for evening meetings and at 12:30 p.m. for afternoon meetings\, unless otherwise stated.  \nIn Person Check-in: Please give your name at the front desk when you arrive. If you have questions about anything\, someone at the desk can help. There will be raffle tickets and a revised membership renewal form available to pick up. \nGuests: Members are permitted to bring a non-member guest to the meeting two times. This can be in person or virtually. Please advise Membership (mbqgmembership@gmail.com) if you plan to bring a guest\, so they may be properly introduced at the meeting. \nLibrary: Before the meeting is a great time to browse our library and borrow one of the new acquisitions. Bring the project you’re currently working on\,\nteam up with another to create something for charity\, demonstrate a special\nskill\, offer help to others or offer tips to newer quilters\, or\, or\, you get the\nidea! \nThe Cost: Free (included in your membership)\nWhat’s Provided: Tables\, Chairs\, access to 2 Ironing Boards and 2 Irons\,\nTea & Coffee\, Kitchen Access\nWhat to Bring: Your Project\, An Extension Cord\, Lunch\,\nTreats to share (if you wish) \nSign-Up: Each session can accommodate 12 members — sign-up at\nthe next monthly meeting or by email to Didi at:   sewdidisew@gmail.com\nFuture Dates: June 6\nYour Hosts: Nina Scott-Stoddart and Didi Morton-Spaan \nName The Day Contest\nAt the moment we are calling these gatherings “Sew Day” or “Open Sew Day”\nhowever we believe that a name with more pizazz is needed.
