SUMMARY:Pillowcase Kit Pick up Day
DESCRIPTION:Due to the approaching storm\, we have decided to cancel the Pillowcase Day planned for this Saturday. \n\nInstead of rebooking we have decided to cut the donated fabric into kits for members to pick up and sew at home.  The pick-up time will be held this Monday\, September 18th\, from 1-3 in the afternoon\, at Gow’s Hardware Store in Bridgewater. (Come to the room in the back of the store that they lend out to charities.)\n\nThe kits may not include the 2″ strip required for the trim piece.  We are hoping that members will be able to add that.\n\nPlease bring completed pillowcases to the October meeting. (Or drop off before that to Janet (199 Mader’s Cove Road\, Mader’s Cove) or Marilyn (704 Main Street\, Mahone Bay).\n\nBelow see three important attachments for completing the pillowcases:\n\n1.  New this year:    Labels – which need to be sewn into the inside seam\, directions attached below. (If the pillowcases are already made the labels will be ironed on after being collected.)\n\n2.  Laundering Instructions ( Important: must be scent free detergent / no dryer sheets – please read attached memo below).
