DESCRIPTION:Fat Quarter Draw:   Theme for November TBD.  The more you bring\, the better your chances are of winning. \nProgram:  Rhoda Moore – Quilts of Valour \nSew & Tell: The meeting will wrap up with sharing our completed projects. Look for the sign up sheet. \n\n\n\nGENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT GUILD MEETINGS: \n\n\n\nDoors open at 6:30 p.m. for evening meetings and at 12:30 p.m. for afternoon meetings\, unless otherwise stated.  \nIn Person Check-in: Please give your name at the front desk when you arrive. If you have questions about anything\, someone at the desk can help. There will be raffle tickets and a revised membership renewal form available to pick up. \nGuests: Members are permitted to bring a non-member guest to the meeting two times. This can be in person or virtually. Please advise Membership (mbqgmembership@gmail.com) if you plan to bring a guest\, so they may be properly introduced at the meeting. \nLibrary: Before the meeting is a great time to browse our library and borrow one of the new acquisitions. Our Librarian always welcomes suggestions for library purchases. \nDonation items: Your quilt donations are welcome at any meeting. \n\n\n\nAnd please remember that for all in-person meetings: \n\nEvents are scent free\nYou should wear a name tag – any type is fine. You can order a printed Guild name tag from Elizabeth or make your own.\nDon’t be shy about introducing yourself to someone you might not know – we have many new members\nReturn any library books you have

DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\n\nSlow Quilting for 2025-2026\n \nSlow Quilting is back and ready to get together again at ”The Nest”\, Treehouse Village\, Bridgewater.\n \nOur dates for 2025-2026 *from 1-4pm each afternoon\n \nOctober 20 & 27th \nNovember 10 & 24 \nDecember 8 & 22 \nJanuary 12 & 26 \nFebruary 9 & 23\nMarch 9 & 23\nApril 27\nMay 11 & 25\nJune 8 & 22\n \nThe address is 39 Treehouse Lane\, stay to the right\, we are in the last building at the end of the driveway. Park in any spot that doesn’t have an EV charger\, those are reserved.\n \nThere will be a sign on the door. We meet in “the Nest” – a nice room with great light and comfy chairs on the 3rd floor\, access by stairs or by elevator. \nIf you take the elevator\, push the button and hold it until the elevator door opens. Hold the elevator button (inside) till you get to the 3rd floor.\n \nPlease bring indoor shoes as we don’t wear outdoor shoes into the room.  \nOutdoor shoes are fine on the stairs and elevator\, there are boot trays at each outside door\, including the top floor.\n \nPlease bring your coffee/tea or whatever drink you like and treats for the group are always welcome. \n \n*Please note we have extended the time from 1-4pm\, you are welcome to come anytime and to leave anytime!\n \nBring any handwork from appliqué to piecing to sewing a binding! Do you have a hand sewing project and have questions bring them along!  And if you want to bring a sewing machine there are tables you can use. \n \nAny questions? DESCRIPTION:OPEN SEW DAY UPDATE!! \nWe are very pleased to announce that we have the first open sew day booked for\nTHURSDAY\, NOVEMBER 20 at the Trinity United Church Hall (where we meet) from 10am to 4pm. \nYou can come for the day or pop in for a shorter visit. \nWe will have all the tables set up and space will be based on how many people attend. \nHand stitchers are welcome as well as machine sewers. \nWe have ironing boards and full-size irons but feel free to bring your own travel iron and wool mat if you like.  We have a cutting mat if needed but please bring your own ruler and rotary cutter if using.  Please bring your own extension cord or wheel if you are planning to plug something in\, such as a sewing machine\, iron\, or extra lighting. We have several\, but not enough for everyone. \nPack a lunch or run out for a snack when you get hungry. \nThis is an unstructured day to work on whatever you like and share ideas with other members. \nHope to see what you are sewing in November.
