SUMMARY:December Monthly Guild Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Business Meeting: Afternoon meetings begin at 1:00 pm\, with doors open at 12:30 pm. The business meeting usually lasts 30-40 minutes. \n\n\n\nFat Quarter Draw:  There’s no FQ Draw this month – instead we’re doing an ornament exchange\, see below. \n\n\n\nProgram: Potluck! Members are encouraged to bring their favourite holiday dish that they are famous for making! Be sure to bring a plate\, cup and cutlery. There will also be an ornament exchange – bring in a handmade tree ornament (made by you or someone else) for the exchange and take home a different one! \nSew & Tell: The meeting wraps up with sharing our completed projects. If you’re bringing items in person\, then look for the sign up sheet. Photos will be added to the Photo Gallery here. \n\n\n\nGENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT GUILD MEETINGS: \n\n\n\nIn Person Check-in: Please give your name at the front desk when you arrive. If you have questions about anything\, someone at the desk can help. \nGuests: Members are permitted to bring a non-member guest to the meeting two times. This can be in person or virtually. Please advise Membership (mbqgmembership@gmail.com) if you plan to bring a guest\, so they may be properly introduced at the meeting. \nLibrary: Before the meeting is a great time to browse our library and borrow one of the new acquisitions. Our Librarian always welcomes suggestions for library purchases. \nDonation items: Your quilt donations are welcome at any meeting. \n\n\n\nAnd please remember that for all in-person meetings: \n\nEvents are scent free\nYou should wear a name tag – any type is fine. You can order a printed Guild name tag from Elizabeth or make your own.\nDon’t be shy about introducing yourself to someone you might not know – we have many new members\nReturn any library books you have

SUMMARY:Slow Quilting at the Hungry Traveler
DESCRIPTION:Slow Quilting in person is back! Natasha at the Hungry Traveler Cafe (located on Highway 3 between Mahone Bay and Lunenburg) is willing to welcome us on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month from 2-4 p.m. Natasha has coffee\, tea\, and sweets available as well as other fare if so desired. Be sure to grab some hand sewing and come join in! \nNote that when our monthly meeting is moved to the second Monday in the month because of a holiday\, there will be no Slow Quilting that second Monday.
