SUMMARY:February Monthly Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Our winter meetings (January-March) are moved to the afternoon\, so we don’t have to drive in the evening.\nDoors open at 12:30 pm. \nBusiness Meeting: The meeting begins at 1:00 pm\, usually lasting 30-40 minutes. \nProgram:   Project Linus – presentation by Rhonda Church\n \nFat Quarter Draw: Theme is Dots and/or Stripes \nSew & Tell: The meeting wraps up with sharing our completed projects. If you’re bringing items in person\, then look for the sign up sheet. \n  \nGENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT GUILD MEETINGS: \n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn Person Check-in: Please give your name at the front desk when you arrive. If you have questions about anything\, someone at the desk can help. There will be raffle tickets and a revised membership renewal form available to pick up. \nGuests: Members are permitted to bring a non-member guest to the meeting two times. This can be in person or virtually. Please advise Membership (mbqgmembership@gmail.com) if you plan to bring a guest\, so they may be properly introduced at the meeting. \nLibrary: Before the meeting is a great time to browse our library and borrow one of the new acquisitions. Our Librarian always welcomes suggestions for library purchases. \nDonation items: Your quilt donations are welcome at any meeting. \n\n\n\nAnd please remember that for all in-person meetings: \n\n–  Events are scent free\n–  You should wear a name tag – any type is fine. You can order a printed Guild name tag fromElizabeth or make your own.\n–  Don’t be shy about introducing yourself to someone you might not know – we have many newmembers\n–  Return any library books you have

DESCRIPTION:Fabric Collage Workshop: Summer Puffin by Ralph Jarvis\, The Quilted Stash: February 10th and 24th\n \nThis two day workshop introduces you to fabric collage\, fabric selection and placement techniques featuring the Newfoundland and Labrador Summer Puffin.  Each pattern includes full size outline and grayscale templates.  The collage finishes at 14 x 14. \nCost: $35 for members plus $20 for required pattern.  Also available is a kit ($35 + tax) which includes pattern and fabric to complete the project.
