DESCRIPTION:Potluck Update\nGood news! We have now secured an alternate location for Monday’s\nPotluck Party. The new location is the West Side United Church Hall in\nPentz\, between Bridgewater and LaHave. Some of you may already be\nfamiliar with the hall as it is the location of the Coastal Quilters\nBee. \nTo get to the hall\, travel south from Bridgewater\, towards\nPleasantville\, on Highway 331. It is immediately after the Pentz\nElementary School and is civic #2702. See you on Monday! \nDoors open at 12:30 p.m.\, meeting 1-3pm \nFat Quarter Draw:   Theme for December Neutrals.  The more you bring\, the better your chances are of winning. \nProgram:  Holiday Meeting and Potluck \nFor your potluck contribution\, the choice is yours. Your dish can be hot\, cold\, an appetizer\, main course\, or dessert (remember to bring a serving utensil). You will have the opportunity to reheat your dish and there will be outlets for crockpots. Please make up a label with the name of your dish\, country of origin (if known)\, and a list of ingredients\, for people with food sensitivities. As always\, remember to bring your own mug/cup\, dishes\, and cutlery as well as a bag in which to take home your dirty dishes.\nWe will be collecting donations for the local food bank\, so please bring along a non-persishable food item or consider making a monetary donation.\nIf you are taking part in either the Ornament Exchange and/or the Mug Rug Exchange\, remember to pack those as well. These exchanges are entirely voluntary. If you want to participate in the Mug Rug Exchange\, you will make one mug rug but it does not have to be a Christmas/holiday theme. You can decide to use any fabric so that it can be used year-round. A mug rug is larger than a coaster but smaller than a place mat. It can be square\, rectangular\, circular\, etc. Please roll your mug rug up like a sausage and tie it with a ribbon or string. DESCRIPTION:This is our Annual General Meeting and Potluck! \nDoors open at 5:30 pm. \nAGM: The meeting begins at 6:00 pm. \nPotluck: Please bring a dish to share. \nFat Quarter Draw: Our theme for this meeting is “Under the Sea” \n\n\n\nAnnual General Meeting Information \n\nRead the Annual Reports included in the June Newsletter.\nDoors open at 5:30 pm with meeting starting at 6:00 pm\nPotluck will begin following the meeting.\nPlease place your dish on the table but should your dish require any last-minute\npreparation\, please make sure it is done in the kitchen.\nPlease bring your utensils\, (cup\, cutlery\, and plate)\nCoffee\, tea\, and punch will be served.\nDon’t forget to bring your “Under the Sea” FQ for the draw.\nDon’t forget to bring your workshop suggestion form that you picked up at the May\nmeeting.\nBe sure and get your ticket at the door for the two fabric draws.\nLibrary books can be returned but not borrowed.\nVolunteer of the Year will be announced.\nThere will be no Sew and Tell.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT GUILD MEETINGS: \n\n\n\nIn Person Check-in: Please give your name at the front desk when you arrive. If you have questions about anything\, someone at the desk can help. There will be raffle tickets and a revised membership renewal form available to pick up. \nGuests: Members are permitted to bring a non-member guest to the meeting two times. This can be in person or virtually. Please advise Membership (mbqgmembership@gmail.com) if you plan to bring a guest\, so they may be properly introduced at the meeting. \nLibrary: Before the meeting is a great time to browse our library and borrow one of the new acquisitions. DESCRIPTION:Doors open at 6:30 pm. \nBusiness Meeting: The meeting begins at 7:00 pm\, usually lasting 30-40 minutes. \nProgram: Paints and Quilting – Pamela Wells\nPam will show different types of paints and dyes and show samples of how they can be used in quilting.  She will talk about how she got started in design and share some book recommendations. \nSew & Tell: The meeting wraps up with sharing our completed projects.
