SUMMARY:January Monthly Meeting - RESCHEDULED
DESCRIPTION:Our winter meetings (January-March) are moved to the afternoon\, so we don’t have to drive in the evening. \nDoors open at 12:30 pm. \nBusiness Meeting: The meeting begins at 1:00 pm\, usually lasting 30-40 minutes. \nProgram:   Unfortunately\, the presentation by Heidi Wolfraat of Woolworks has been cancelled. BUT be sure to attend the meeting for a SURPRISE AUCTION! Raise your paddle (provided) to bid on a number of items that will be on display after the business meeting. Payments for your bargain items can be made by cash or cheque – so raid your piggy bank or bring your cheque book.\n \nFat Quarter Draw: Red/Valentine fabric \nSew & Tell: The meeting wraps up with sharing our completed projects. If you’re bringing items in person\, then look for the sign up sheet. \n\n\n\nGENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT GUILD MEETINGS: \n\n\n\n  \nIn Person Check-in: Please give your name at the front desk when you arrive. If you have questions about anything\, someone at the desk can help. There will be raffle tickets and a revised membership renewal form available to pick up. \nGuests: Members are permitted to bring a non-member guest to the meeting two times. This can be in person or virtually. Please advise Membership (mbqgmembership@gmail.com) if you plan to bring a guest\, so they may be properly introduced at the meeting. \nLibrary: Before the meeting is a great time to browse our library and borrow one of the new acquisitions. Our Librarian always welcomes suggestions for library purchases. \nDonation items: Your quilt donations are welcome at any meeting. \n\n\n\nAnd please remember that for all in-person meetings: \n\n–  Events are scent free\n–  You should wear a name tag – any type is fine. You can order a printed Guild name tag fromElizabeth or make your own.\n–  Don’t be shy about introducing yourself to someone you might not know – we have many newmembers\n–  Return any library books you have
