Did you make it to the October meeting? If so, you may have been part of the fun, meeting and greeting some of our new members.

For those who weren’t there – and sadly that includes me this month – here’s a first hand account from our Membership and Program Chairs who have kindly stepped in to write about the meeting:

Laughter and chatter filled the room at the October Guild meeting. It was great to see members getting
to know each other with smiles and inquiries while trying to find the answers to questions Eldora and
Gail created. Who was wearing red underwear? Who has no UFOs? (This one was difficult) Who was
not born in Nova Scotia? and Who loves English Paper Piecing were among the questions. Members
managed to find answers to each question. We munched on light snacks and beverages while we
chatted. Members were excited to win prizes during the fun filled event.
6 new members attended and were welcomed in full spirit. One member said she can’t wait for next
month. Welcome to those 6 members who joined since the Quilt Show!
Covid and Fiona did not hold us back!!
See you at the November meeting where Carole McCarville from CQA will show us the “2022 Rewire
Individual CQA/ACC Member Challenge” and the “2022 Reaffirm CQA/ACC Member Guild Challenge”

Gail Stryde and Eldora Baillie

P.S. Just a few extra things before you leave.

Look for details on our very successful quilt show in your  next newsletter. Be sure to check out our Flickr link here for a peek at the October Sew and Share.

Don’t forget the Guild Calendar! Mark October 22 in your calendar if you’ve been making pillow cases and would like to drop some off. Details will be sent. Be sure to check out the details on the upcoming EPP workshop on Nov. 19 here. EPP is becoming so popular – register before you miss it!

See you next month!
